In the mid of February 2013 I’ve read an article on the Pluralsight blog. In this article Aaron Skonnard, the CEO of Pluralsight, mentioned a great opportunity for new authors in the year 2013. Because of the Series A funding announcement, Pluralsight will publish over 600 new courses during the year 2013. I immediately thought that this is the kind of possibility I must catch. A few days later, I wrote an e-mail to the address given in the blog post.
And now, almost two month later both my audition video and the outline of my first course idea got approved and I’ve signed the necessary documents. I’m officially a Pluralsight author working on my first course.
I won’t write something detailed about the course in this blog post. Especially nothing about the planned content, because the module structure can slightly change while I’m producing the slides, the code demos and recording the video. But as a very short teaser, the topic is about .NET applications :).
For me it’s a pleasure to work for this awesome company and I feel honored for the chance to work with such high talented and motivated Pluralsight people I met so far. The review process and the Skype sessions were really inspiring and a big motivational boost.
I hope the production will be successful and my course will be a good extension of the Pluralsight library.
Thank you for this opportunity!
